What an amazing morning spent on the Kalgan Queen. We didn’t know what to expect but it far exceeded our expectations. Captain Jack was both funny and informative, his relationship with the pelicans, Percy and Perch was amazing. We enjoyed every moment, feeding the osprey and sea eagle, watching the seal do it’s thing, waving at us, being captivated by Percy and Perch, eating fresh oysters, strawberries and Jack’s Mum’s delicious damper.This trip is a must do when visiting Albany.

Absolutely wonderful cruise with interesting information and plenty of wildlife to see. The pelicans were real characters and our guide was informative and amusing. He made the whole experience very enjoyable.

A wonderful informative fun morning. Jack's knowledge of local history is brilliant. The birdlife was fantastic. Oyster harbor and Kagan river, just beautiful. Highly recommend.

We just completed this morning's cruise and had to leave a review as it was the best cruise we have ever done.Captain Jack was a very knowledgeable, friendly and humorous.We got to see pelicans, sea eagles, a large sting ray and osprey.Captain Jack's knowledge of the area, his stories and the welcoming atmosphere made for a very relaxing and entertaining experience.Highly recommend this to anyone looking for something to do in Albany

Had a lovely time meeting and learning about Capt Jack's pelican friends. The weather was perfect and we learned a lot about the local wildlife whilst eating fresh damper, honey, strawberries and oysters washed down with a cuppa. We were thoroughly informed, entertained and educated. I would highly recommend this tour for all ages. The four hours flew by.

Fantastic river boat tour which I highly recommend.In Albany for the weekend for a music festival, I dropped in to the visitor centre and they recommended this tour.I knew we were off to a good start when we were escorted along the gang plank to the boat by a large pelican named Perch.Captain Jack is an incredible blend of boating ability, boundless aquatic, wildlife, and historical knowledge, and other skills you'll just have to experience for yourself. Hint: poetry.It's a four hour tour, but literally never a dull moment. So many interesting stories along the way and back from the worlds of nature, the maritime, and local history.Jack's interactions with his feathered friends are simply amazing. And the coffee and damper with the 11 not-so-secret herbs, spices, and other elements absolutely hit the spot.I'll definitely be telling anyone I know who's headed to Albany (and maybe several I don't know) to take a ride on the Kalgan Queen.It was no surprise to see two people on our trip were very recent returnees. It's a top notch trip.

Captain Jack was very knowledgable, and kept the tour entertaining throughout.
